The details and attention to the details are what makes all the difference
in quality custom cabinetry and woodwork.
Kitchen and built in cabinet interiors are constructed of 3/4" maple plywood joined with dowels and screws
with a tough UV finish. We always use 1/4" solid wood edge banding, never wood tape or pvc, even on cabinets
which require special veneers on MDF cores.
We think finishing is the most important step in cabinerty and furniture. We have up to date finish facilities
and are well versed in distressing, glazing, and scraped painted finishes. We also do lustrous clear finishes on
natural maple, cherry, and other hardwoods. Hand planing on certain wood is available, which adds a real nice touch
to country and old world styles. Usually our top-coat is catalyzed varnish or lacquer. |
